Sleepy Independence

Sunday, June 13th, 2010

I tell you, long weekends are pretty precious to me since normally I spend 6 busy days at work. So today is a holiday – Yay! for Independence Day – I had many plans like going to Tatang’s1 birthday and finally revamping this site.

But my plans were ruined because I’ve been sleeping all day. Yes, what a dull holiday to be spent in bed. Failed Chi and failed Chirrific. You ask me why? I’ve been working for more-likely 28 hours wearing my pair of lovely contacts because I didn’t know I’d be out overnight and I failed to bring my eyeglasses. Such a dork.

I just hope Chi isn’t mad or anything because he and his family expects me there. I also hope that I’ll manage to have time to create a new layout because this site needs some lovin’.

On the brighter side, my hardwork will be paid-off because I’ll be on 5-Saturday-training with PHP and MySQL Advanced. Yay for web again, another for studying again, and another because I like it!

Happy Feet

Sunday, June 6th, 2010

Past six days were spent in front of my working machine doing all wonderfully shizz codes which contributes a lot to my back pains, wrist pains, all kinds of pain and everything. Oh, I welcomed you stress but since today is Sunday, you must exit now. I need all the pampering I can get because tomorrow and its succeeding days would be very busy for all I know. Body love would be costly if you would think of spas, facials and such. Bad thing, today’s wallet is too thin, I’m on a tight budget. So I opened my vanity closet full of beauty products and look for something to perk me up. After some label reading, I decided to do a foot spa session since I didn’t treat my soles for such a long time. They do deserve some TLC since they are my sturdy companions with all the walking.

My kit includes:

  • Foot Soak Crystals
  • Apricot Foot Scrub
  • Foot File
  • Crystal Foot Blusher
  • Spot-corrector Whitening Cream
  • Mixture of emu oil, Glysolid cream and Creme21

Procedure:

  1. I washed my feet with soap and water.
  2. I filled half-a-basin of lukewarm water, sprinkled it with love and a tablespoon of foot soak crystals and relax my tired feet with those for 30 minutes while reading some echi, I’m sorry, magazine. I love this foot soak! It softens my feet just right which makes it easy for me to exfoliate.
  3. Scrub gently using the foot file until smooth. I focused on the parts where I have lots of dead skin cells – my toes and ankle straps, heels and soles.
  4. I also massaged my feet with the apricot foot scrub which gave me a soothing feeling and rinsed it well with lukewarm water.
  5. I applied the crystal foot blusher. This one’s nice and would give you a glowing feet effect if you don’t overdo it. You don’t want a red feet that looked like you spilled a bottle of ‘gamot na pula’ all over, right? Also, this one’s rinsed too after application. Again, very pretty when properly used.
  6. To complete the process, I apply my cream + oil mixture instead of a lotion. Emu oil is said to be good for veins (I have large ones on my feet, sigh) and the Glysolid cream + Creme21 is a very nice moisturizer. I also applied the spot-corrector whitening cream to my pesky dark blisters I got from not-so-nice shoes and covered the loves with socks for them to be ready-to-flaunt tomorrow. Haha.

In case you’re wondering, I bought my products in these shops:

  • The soak and apricot scrub was from Strip It.
  • The crystal blusher, spot-corrector cream and foot file is the complete foot pampering set named Feet Delights from HappyThreeGirls.
  • I bought the wonderful emu oil from Barenaturals a few months ago.
  • The Glysolid and Creme21 were bought from here.

I may not be born-blessed with a perfect pair of feet but they don’t deserve the hatred and I’d still love them and take care of them because simply, I’m lucky I have them.

Love’s Sidekick

Thursday, June 3rd, 2010

If Kyre’s1 got his sidekick, I got one for Love2 too.

So dear Love’s new pal is a black FabManila Gadget Organizer. I must say this bag is just as lovely as my Love is! Fits my cam well, plus 6 inner pockets to store charger and other items.

Photo grabbed from Fabmanila, mine’s a black one :)

I’ll just put some cam protectors for her to be safe from bumps and such as I carry it elsewhere. I’m thinking of getting another one for other organizing purposes. Hehe. Mom wants one too!

Shrek Forever After

Sunday, May 30th, 2010

Most of the wonderful things in life are just appreciated when gone.

This is what Shrek Forever After (The Final Chapter) taught me. Watched it with Chi this afternoon and I must say, we both love it. The film’s kinda short, about an hour and few minutes but our P110 isn’t put to waste dear. This movie is perfect for connecting people which admittedly Chi and I both need due to busyness. It brings back old days, happiness inside and to tell the truth, touched some soft part on me that made me shed some tears on the last part. Haha, just ask me what part is it and I’ll tell you the line. Kabisado? LOL.

My favorite character is Rumpelstiltskin. Yes, the villain guy. I just love his angry wig and how he speaks. Reminds me of someone I know but I can’t remember who exactly. Puss in Boots is just lovable, he grew fat and spoiled and cute. “Feed me, if you dare.” And of course, Donkey, the music man is annoyingly cool.

After seeing the movie, we had my all-time favorite lasagna from Greenwich. Yay. Yes I love it. We got pizza fries for free which isn’t nice on my taste buds honestly.

I just had a happy day. Connections, I feel. We just need it. I love Sundays! :D

Jejemons in teh House, Yo!

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

Introducing, the Jologs-inator. Try it so you would experience what I’m talking about. Jeje.

I love Jejemons, yo! LOL.

The BBB

Tuesday, April 27th, 2010

BBB stands for Big, Beach Bags. I know it’s sooo lame, so stop it and just continue reading for the love of me.

A week ago, I ordered one of these yummy, functional beach bags:

In case you’re not good in pictures, it has water-resistant pocket for gadgets and likes, detachable toiletries pouch, wet clothes bag, and compartments for your flip-flops and bottled water, or in my case, for my contact lens solution.

I intend to use it for that weekend but too bad, they didn’t confirm my order for around 5 days. Also, I can’t contact their number. Being the impatient and desperate me to get one of those clever bags, I did some research and found one of their resellers from Davao selling on-hand stocks of the old version. Imagine, due to some impulsiveness and sleepless nights (exaggerated), I ordered from her and shed extra moolah just to get one bag on my hands. Such a nice seller, shipped it right after I paid for it just to feed my cravings. (Thanks Ms. Pat! Hehe) Same bag functionality, sans the wonderful colors I really like and the gadget pouch isn’t detachable.

I got the Glam Green color. It’s a very big bag, I tell you. I just wish the pouches are bigger and made of some better, tougher material. I didn’t get the lovely Apple Pink but still I’m happy.

I’m ready for bitch. Beach I mean.

Regla.

Ang lansa naman ng pamagat. Nyahaha.

TXT Message for the day – mula sa isang nagpakilalang Paul matapos akong tawagan sa aking SUN telepono at akin namang binabaan dahil naiirita ako.

G: Hello, sino ‘to?
P: Sa Manila ba ‘to?
G: Sino ka ba? Sino hinahanap mo?
P: (pause) Si Jet. (sinong Jet? pakingshet) Sa Manila ba ‘to?
Sorry wrong number.
P: Ano name mo? Sa Manila ba ‘to?
G: Oo sa Manila. (ano masaya ka na?) Sorry wrong number.

Enjoy.

SAS: Salicylic Acid Scam

Sunday, April 18th, 2010

Kulang pera mo, watdapak.” Buti kasunod ko lang si A, back-up kasi kulang ang dinala kong pera, kundi kahiya-hiya. My gosh.

Marumi tignan.

Oh well, at least meron naman akong Mocha Milk. Pampalubag loob.
