Happy Feet

Past six days were spent in front of my working machine doing all wonderfully shizz codes which contributes a lot to my back pains, wrist pains, all kinds of pain and everything. Oh, I welcomed you stress but since today is Sunday, you must exit now. I need all the pampering I can get because tomorrow and its succeeding days would be very busy for all I know. Body love would be costly if you would think of spas, facials and such. Bad thing, today’s wallet is too thin, I’m on a tight budget. So I opened my vanity closet full of beauty products and look for something to perk me up. After some label reading, I decided to do a foot spa session since I didn’t treat my soles for such a long time. They do deserve some TLC since they are my sturdy companions with all the walking.

My kit includes:

  • Foot Soak Crystals
  • Apricot Foot Scrub
  • Foot File
  • Crystal Foot Blusher
  • Spot-corrector Whitening Cream
  • Mixture of emu oil, Glysolid cream and Creme21

Procedure:

  1. I washed my feet with soap and water.
  2. I filled half-a-basin of lukewarm water, sprinkled it with love and a tablespoon of foot soak crystals and relax my tired feet with those for 30 minutes while reading some echi, I’m sorry, magazine. I love this foot soak! It softens my feet just right which makes it easy for me to exfoliate.
  3. Scrub gently using the foot file until smooth. I focused on the parts where I have lots of dead skin cells – my toes and ankle straps, heels and soles.
  4. I also massaged my feet with the apricot foot scrub which gave me a soothing feeling and rinsed it well with lukewarm water.
  5. I applied the crystal foot blusher. This one’s nice and would give you a glowing feet effect if you don’t overdo it. You don’t want a red feet that looked like you spilled a bottle of ‘gamot na pula’ all over, right? Also, this one’s rinsed too after application. Again, very pretty when properly used.
  6. To complete the process, I apply my cream + oil mixture instead of a lotion. Emu oil is said to be good for veins (I have large ones on my feet, sigh) and the Glysolid cream + Creme21 is a very nice moisturizer. I also applied the spot-corrector whitening cream to my pesky dark blisters I got from not-so-nice shoes and covered the loves with socks for them to be ready-to-flaunt tomorrow. Haha.

In case you’re wondering, I bought my products in these shops:

  • The soak and apricot scrub was from Strip It.
  • The crystal blusher, spot-corrector cream and foot file is the complete foot pampering set named Feet Delights from HappyThreeGirls.
  • I bought the wonderful emu oil from Barenaturals a few months ago.
  • The Glysolid and Creme21 were bought from here.

I may not be born-blessed with a perfect pair of feet but they don’t deserve the hatred and I’d still love them and take care of them because simply, I’m lucky I have them.
